Spring Card Camp: Day 9 Inking Stencils
/This technique that Channin Pelletier taught recently, at Online Card Classes: Spring Card Camp, was a fun little experiment in background making. First time I have ever used my stencils for creating prints. Pulled some backgrounds into cards and have a few more prints that I will save for another card making sessions.

For my cards I used Gina K Designs: Sun Spot Stencil with a rainbow of distress oxides
I choose to create a circular card with a longer rectangularish (I know not a real word) sentiment - Paper Smooches: Hallow Hello. Second card I die cut into a rectangle and went with a red round circle to mount the Honey Bee: Love You die.
In addition to the above 2 cards, I also created prints with Simon Says Stamps Folk Dance Stencil. Some how I ended up with two prints along with the initial ink blending. I believe I didn’t add enough water when creating the first print. Although it was a neat effect with distinctive lines for the pattern. Turning them into cards will have to wait for a later time.
