Your Next Stamp Christmas Series: Paw-liday Pups
/Over the next 5 days Your Next Stamp design team is highlighting 5 adorable wintery stamp sets. Better still YNS is offering 50% off those stamp sets at the online store. Today we are showcasing the Paw-liday Pups.
Since I won’t be able to get to see everyone this Christmas in person to give them their present, making money folder cards seem like a great idea. And slim line cards are the perfect shape and size for slipping in some money.
Get the Look:
Die cut a slim line card base of 9 1/2" x 8 1/2”. On the side that is 9 1/2” score it at 1 1/2” and 5”. Fold along the score lines. For the short fold cut diagonally to create a pocket as in the image below. Adhere one end to inside card panel, to seal end and create the pocket.
Die cut the slim circle die out of acetate. Cut a white card base that is 3” x 8”.
Using the slim circle acetate as a stencil blend cracked pistachio, peacock feathers and chipped sapphire distress inks over with a brush. Then apply glitter paste overtop. Let dry. Wash stencil.
At same time also blend distress colours overtop of a die cut circle for sentiment. Once ink has dried, emboss sentiment in silver glitter embossing powder.
Stamp, colour and die cut the snow boarding pup.
Die cut snow hills.
Pull all the elements together: Lay the hills ontop of the blended background. Position and adhere your snowboarding pup and sentiment.
Glue scene to card base.
For the inside either leave blank or decorate with pattern paper.
