Your Next Stamp Release Preview: Celebrating You

Heading into the last day of previews. Tomorrow all the wonderful stamp and die sets arrive 11am EDT at Your Next Stamp and also there is a instagram hop to celebrate the release starting at 11am. In addition check out all the fun things going on over at the YNS Facebook group to celebrate.

This ‘Celebrating You’ stamp set is a perfect stamp set for a birthday celebration. Presents are always fun to play with, they can be dressed up or down in so many ways.

Get the look:

  • Both cards basically follow the same steps with some minor differences on how the background is laid out. And of course one I used colour card stock and colour markers the other I used black and white card stock and coloured with grey tones.

  • Start by stamping, colouring and die cutting out the presents.

  • Die cut on a light weight card stock the solid heart. This makes a good base to apply stripes onto.

  • Then die cut the stripes with colour card stock or black and white card stock or both. Hey your already die cutting you may as well make multiples.

  • Layout and glue the stripes to the background heart.

Stamp “Happy Birthday” on the heart

Mount a stitched rectangle die cut on card base.

Arrange the striped heart and the presents onto A2 card base.

Add your embellishments.

Colour:

Die cut the confetti panel die

Line up sentiment with Misti so that it will be in same spot on both card base and confetti die. Stamp on both.

Glue confetti panel die to base.

Arrange the striped heart and the presents onto A2 card base.

Add your embellishments.

Each preview day, YNS will be giving away the stamp sets being showcased. Each individual set will go to randomly selected comments left on the YNS blog, YNS Designer’s blogs or YNS IG. Leave all your comments by August 17th at midnight EDT, the winners will be announced on August 18th.
