The new Gone to Maui stamp set certainly takes me to my happy place. I can see many fun scenes being made with this set. But when I first saw this stamp set all I could think about is making a really, really, cute mini shaker window with the Tiki Hut. So lets jump right into it.

Seems that every Holiday season I like to take one of my stamp sets and change it up so that it becomes an ornament hanging on a Christmas tree. It is certainly a great way to extend your stamps beyond there intended use. This year I decided on a cute little bunny to hang out on an ornament.

Read MoreI have loved making slim line cards for many years and it is so exciting now that there are so many new, neat options for creating so much more than a basic slim line card. I decided to see what different ways I could create a card with the Slim Stripe Panel Die from Your Next Stamp (YNS) with just the die and sentiment die - Bold Happy Word Set. What I created was really only scratching the surface of options. Thinking perhaps in the future I might try using it as a stencil with glitter paste or simply using the die cut colour stripes without the frame. Or I wander if I could partially die cut it for a shorter card. Hmmm so many options, not enough crafty time : )

However at the time I didn’t have time to colour in a full background so I choose a technique that I’ve used in the past stamping backgrounds in silver pearl embossing powder.
