Continuing to celebrate Your Next Stamp’s birthday this month, I’ve choosen to use the ‘Celebrating You’ stamp set for the new challenge theme of Decorations. I’m sure like me you must have tons of those cute little packages full of pretty sequins, gumdrops, jewels and all sorts of other things that are perfect for decorating and giving your card that little extra something. For me I love presents in this stamp set because there are just so many options for dressing them up and decorating them.

I made this card well over a month ago, I just haven’t had a chance to type up a blog entry for it yet. Such a cute stamp set called Lottie’s Gang - Birthday Squad from Julian Charlton over at Purple Onion Designs. Your Next Stamp August Release Preview: Gnome Sweet Gnome

I had so much fun with this Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set doing one of my favourite card making things, creating scenes. Not sure why, but creating scenes with buildings is at the top of my list, whimsical little gnome homes included. The new Gnome Sweet Gnome set is a collection of gnome homes that reminded me of the many fairy books I had when I was a kid. To play on the whimsy of the stamp sets I wanted to use soft muted woodland colours.
